BUPA Great Manchester Run


Location: Manchester city centre
Date: Sunday 18th May 2008


Britain's premier 10k event, which is also one of the fastest growing running events in the world with 27,000 participants pounding the streets through Manchester city centre.
We'd love to have you running this years event with Team Victim Support and here's how you can get your place:

Online entries have now filled. If you managed to secure your Own Place, please use it to run for us and raise whatever you can.
If you are too late for this year, please consider one of our other events.

Doitforcharity 5k Run


Location: Heaton Park

One of the Doitforcharity series of 5k runs. The event is only open to people running for charity.

City of Manchester 10k Run


Location: Sportcity Athletics Arena
Date: Sunday 6th July 2008


Organised by Manchester YMCA Harriers, the Race starts and finishes at the Sportcity Athletics Arena. It also goes around the outside of the City Of Manchester Stadium (originally built for the Manchester Commonwealth Games), and highlights the ‘B’ of the Bang sculpture – great for photo’s to prove you really did it!.

ALL finishers are placed into a prize draw to win a weekend for two at the Castlefield Hotel, Manchester. Entry Fee £16. Closing date 30th June. (Please note that the course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes).

The Everyclick Charity Challenge


Location: your computer
Date: Now – mid April

This has to be the worlds easiest challenge event! Raise funds just by searching the internet.

Everyclick.com and Clear Channel are challenging charities to raise as much money as possible for their cause over a three month period by inspiring their supporters to use Everyclick.com’s search engine, winners will benefit from a huge advertising campaign.

So far, our supporters have raised £328, but we need more supporters if we are going to win this exciting prize.

We have arranged to collect at a number of Tesco stores as detailed below, and are always looking for volunteers to help on the day.
